I think I have the same problem. Your filter smells like fuel right? Are you using the dynojet kit? I'm thinking it may have to do with my needle setting or just the kit. I have some mikuni jets and am going back to the stock needle to see if that makes a difference.

I'd say just get another hub. They're cheap enough on ebay, and better than risking that hub bending or worse braking the next time you land hard off a jump. Just my .02 and looking out for your safety.

Not to get off topic, but I heard sanding and mop and glow works just as good. Definitely agree about the more time sanding the better. ^^^^
