I don't know a thing about tires and rims. How can I find out what size rims I have? I need to get new tires all around and I want tires that are bigger and more round with a lot of bite. Tires I have now are not round in the back, they are flat and I get hung up on things on trails.

I charge my battery while its fully attached to the quad and dont have problems. Try jumping the solenoid like stated above

I adjusted the valves about a month ago but I will check them again. I will also do another compression test. if it is piston slap wouldnt that mean the piston is loose in there and the compression reading should be low?

I'm not sure if the piston is stock. I have been running mid grade gas. I've also noticed it now smokes for a minute or two after starting but it goes away.

Thanx guys but i really don't want to mod my airbox. I'm looking on ebay and some stock shocks have the reservoir and the tube that connects them and some are just the shock...why some with and some without?

Not really trying to race. I trail ride mostly and am just looking for a simple bolt on replacement (no mods required) for the stock that could possibly perform better.

I was thinking of something a bit better than the stock shock. From what ive seen Works is so expensive its ludicrous. seriously who pays that much for a single ******* shock? The 01 660 Raptor shock requires aiirbox modification no? Does the Banshee bolt right on with no mod? also what year...

I really dont want to modify the air box. Whats the best shock to get which will just bolt right on?

They don't come with the bolts he says but why does it say on the thred for the oil mod that the stock big bear fittings are OPTIONAL? why would they be optional if you dont even need them? I am just trying to wrap my mind around this. your pictures help a lot though.

I just have another question. I am looking to buy the big bear cooler in the for sale section of the forum but it has threads on the outlets on the cover...I thought they were supposed to be "barbed" or whatever so the oil line slips on. How will the oil lines go on this one im looking to buy...

yea, 20w40 or 10w 30. i use 20w50 in my xl600 but thats ok according to its manual. warrior manual doesnt mention 20w50

I really dont know what to look for when it comes to shocks. I just need to replace mine because its saggy. Not sure about the gas canister attached to it...can i fix the shock or is it probably toast? seems the adjusting rings are compressing the spring as much as they will be able to go.

There's barbs everyones talking about on that thread...if I buy the *OPTIONAL*(according to deathshadows list) 2X joints, do i still need to buy the barb things from home depot? are the "joints" the barbs?
