Sprocket finally came yesterday!!! As of this morning Ive finished pulling the top end apart and started the reassembly. Ive got my fingers crossed that all goes well and I can install the motor and fire it up by tonight. I also made my own base gasket, its a little thicker so it should make up...

How much to ask for my Warrior

I agree with Ed, most in the Wisconsin area are advertised $500 to $2000. If they get that I have no clue. If I were to put mine up for sale I'd ask about more though, considering I could part it out for more.

    1999 Warrior Rebuild "Jar-Jar"

Ya underwater, big rocks, not good for a Warrior!!! Of coarse if theres 4x4 quads going thru at all then you have all the ridges they created for oyu to get high centered on too.

    New to Yamahas

Sounds like your headed in the right direction to start. Id also, if your getting the jets locally see if they have a 150, some have needed to go just a step higher. For those mods usually the 147.5 or 150 seems to be just about right. And welcome to the board!!

    1999 Warrior Rebuild "Jar-Jar"

Well over the weekend I ordered a replacement piston, 14 tooth front sprocket, and the next size up main jet a 155(since thats the throttle range I was at when it went boom!!). Ive got my fingers crossed that atleast the piston gets here by the weekend, Id really like to start putting Jar-Jar...

    FS: Head with megacycle cam

The 252x1 is a .450 lift, most consider it a full race cam. Its a really good cam if your in the mid to high rpms most of the time. That being said thats what I have in mine, you can tell when you hit the range the cam likes!!!

    help me choose a piston

Piston is ordered, now to find someone that can get me the head gasket before July and without charging $17 dollars shipping. Cometic is the high shipping and eBay and summit are the over 2 week wait. Anyone know if some one has them actually in stock so I could get one next week.

    help me choose a piston

Well Ive decided to go with the 10.5:1 piston agian. I plan on getting another Cometic EST head gasket, since it held together so well with what was going on in the cylinder!! Now on the seach for one I find Summit carries them now. They list a few different thickness's. Im gonna try to remember...

    help me choose a piston

You wouldnt happen to know what the thickness of a stock head and the proper measurement point are would you Pat? If I do decide to just go with the 10.5:1, I wanna make sure there isnt more than the .015 shaved. If there is that could be another explanation to the detonation as Weston...

    help me choose a piston

Well if Westons calculations were correct Im already at or a little above 11:1 with the piston and shave running the 10.5:1 piston. Anyone have access or know what a stock warrior head should measure before any surfacing? I havent come across a spec for it yet. As for planning with race gas for...
