    Cam chain guide popped out?

The front guide is held in by force. There is a "saddle" in the crankcase that the bottom of the guide sits in, and the top of the guide goes into a notch in the bottom of the cylinder head.

What did you do to your quad today?

Thanks, Ed, she's fine. I don't she's in as much pain as she had been. She was wearing the GoPro when it happened, so I watched that sucker several dozens times that day alone! Rode back up the hill to where she was and I asked if anything was broken, she said "no" and I replied, "hey, you...

What did you do to your quad today?

I haven't ridden since Oct. 16th/17th, at Hatfield's Pinnacle Creek. My sister went over the bars, got banged up, we didn't get to ride very much. 350X is still covered in a thin layer of mud.

    my new warrior

Good deal, what with the aftermarket parts. YFZ front shocks will work with +2 arms, I believe. Have not done anything on the 2nd generation Warrior. Others have, though. If you want a big bore, go for broke and contact Cycleworksracing about Greg's 400 kit. Otherwise, run a Wiseco...

What did you do to your quad today?

You can get a switch for automotive battery cables that will work. Summit carries them. But, if there is a problem with stator output with the winch box hooked up, you'll put an awfully heavy draw on a system that is not operating at it's full capacity, when you do use the winch. I'd...

ITP GNCC, superb tire. The ARTRAX MX has done well on my ATC350X. They are 4 ply.

What did you do to your quad today?

Air box looks good, Ed! I'm out at Buffalo Mountain, just rode for the second day. Did forty miles yesterday, and about thirty today. As a guess anyway. Lots of rain, so we waited to ride until after lunch. Came back early because my mom got tired (has heart issues). She's doing great...

What did you do to your quad today?

Looks like you treated yourself to a beautiful birthday present, Ed! I got my mother's quad finally finished today. The speed sensor came in yesterday, which is a day earlier then it was supposed to be. I guess the postal service likes me more then they do Ed??? lol. Now it shifts...

    getting incredibly hot

No such thing as being 180* out on a single cylinder four stroke. Soon as you turn the crank 360*, it is on the exhaust stroke, and the cam will be 180* away from it's timing mark. Move the cam sprocket 180* back to it's timing mark, without moving the crank, and you go from the exhaust stroke...

    Wiesco Piston Noob Help

Yeah, don't waste your money on a Hotcam. Best to pony up for a HD valve spring kit (like from Kibblewhite) and either a cam from Webcams or Megacycle. Personally, I like the Megacycle grinds. There are only two, but, they work fantastically. The 252x2 would suit your needs well.

What did you do to your quad today?

Went "bye, bye" a long time ago. Unfortunitly :argh: Do you have any leash laws, or requirements for animals to be fenced? Can always throw that in his face. And, who the hell puts their kids to bed and 7pm!!!! I did a few more things to my mothers quad yesterday and today. Put...

    getting incredibly hot

You need to plug chop it. Sounds like your pilot jet is too small, and it is running lean. If I remember correctly, 42.5 is the stock pilot jet. With a pipe, you'll have to re-jet it richer to compensate. Let it run at idle until it is at operating temp. Then, shut it down and pull out the...
