    Wiesco Piston Noob Help

With a stock cam you MAY have detonation. A bit more duration, and later intake valve closing, will help to bleed off some dynamic compression, which will make it more pump gas friendly. BUT, it may very well work fine. Just be sure to have the carb tuned perfect. That is a big factor in how...

What did you do to your quad today?

Oh, and she will still be going. We got her a pair of riding boots that are no taller then your average work boot. Now she can shift.

What did you do to your quad today?

Ah, it wasn't that bad, Ed. If it hadn't been for that shaft sticking up out of the whole the second time I pulled it apart, I would have never found the issue. Maybe... Lol. Still working more the 24 hours later! The Clymer manual came in today. Read up on the diagnostic procedure for the...

What did you do to your quad today?

Franken-wolf! A quad built with parts from other quads! Lol. I'm curious to see how that steering dampener works out. For the last few days I've been working on my mom's "new to her" quad. We bought her a 2002 Honda Recon, with electric shift. Her left foot is messed up, thus she has trouble...

As much as I liked the blue/white of mine, I really like the blue/red of yours better. They handle pretty good, too.

Warrior 350, lots of problems! =(

That blows, dude. Unfortunately, you can't take most people at their word anymore. It's a shame... As to your problems, if it shifts well, and the engine makes not abnormal noises, I'd rebuild the top end. New piston and rings (next larger size), cylinder bored and honed to match, new...

What did you do to your quad today?

If Ed is announcing the coming updates, they must be substantial.

I like it. Oh, use a strong telescoping magnet to retrieve a dropped timing chain.

Oil leak from the stator cover was common. Mine had the same issue. The crankcases aren't that thick, and the one bolt hole pretty much broke in half. If I were to guess, you're leak is directly in front of the sprocket.

    Gold rims

Gold looks good on anything, in my opinion.

Suzuki LT230S Quad Sport (aka Lil Suzie) build thread

This is what mine looked like over 10 years ago. Hard to believe it's been over a decade since I owned it. Engine was in pieces, in a box, with a bad crank. After owning it for 2-3 years I had the engine rebuilt (was not capable of doing that at 14-15ish), it had a cam and valve springs (that...

Suzuki LT230S Quad Sport (aka Lil Suzie) build thread

You may want to do some internet searching for a-arm threads. I ran into a guy on 3wheelerworld that says YFZ arms are a common swap. How? I don't have a ******* clue. But, worth looking into.

They are a great little quad. I had an '87 when I was in my teens. I still have the Clymer repair manual. That sideways kicker sucks monkey nuts! Other then that, I had no complaints. Keep the oil and filter changed regularly. I have heard that the oiling system isn't the more efficient...

What did you do to your quad today?

Well, I no longer have a Warrior, but, I will share with everyone what I did to the other machines in the family. I finally had the opportunity to do the post-Hatfield cleaning and maintenance on my ATC350X, my sister's 250EX, my dad's TRX300FW, and our friend's Mojave. They've only been...

    8.5x24 box trailer.

You'll may need different U-bolts and will need a plate on the bottom side of the leaf spring for the U-bolts to be secured to. Also, you may have to fabricate some form of bracket to keep the axle from turning/twisting on the leafs.

Smaller tires may help as well. I've built a few truck bed trailers.

    My new warrior!

I've not been there. Read and heard about it plenty.

    My new warrior!

Well, I'm really glad that you are happy with it! I certainly was when I was through with it. If I remember correctly, you need a 120 link chain. Still can't get over that happened to you. Are you going to try to keep the case saver on there?
