Nope, 8.1L. And, yes it is an 01. And, yes that front end was only used for 01 & 02 models years. I prefer it over the 03-up. Same with the Silverado. The 01-02 had a more "robust" front end then 03-up when it became "sharp". Don't care for the 03-up Silverado, either. Yeah, I'll take...

I think Weston means 2-5/16 ball. Always go with heavy axles then you may need. 3500lbs units aren't good for much more then a open trailer for lawn/garden/possible car trailer. Besides, I'm pretty sure that all 5200lbs axles are rubber torsion designs, which means it will ride MUCH smoother...

I've dealt with Keystone before. They do have good parts. Anything I need new is steering/suspension, and most of that is lifetime warranty for me.
