then its time for a new coil. do not buy cheap one, just buy OEM new (not used) off ebay.

check grounds, if not coils can go bad for the spark plug. at times if somones messed with it they might off did a frame up build and painted everything which would need to have bare metal contract for those grounds.

Alot of yamahas do this, just how things are. I had a raptor 660 which sounded horrible when it shut off. It was fully rebuild inside and out and still did it. I say it just yamahas stater design.

rear rotors are the same from 88-02 those are all over ebay. screw for the gas tank are junk. any hardware store will have better ones. pipes are ebay. no one here is gonna have much to sell anymore these days.

89-04 a arms are not the same as 87-88. You need to use 87-88. They are a different design and style. 1987 has replaceable ball joints. They are $90 each new. 1988 had them welded in and are not replaceable. You will destory the a arm trying to remove. Must buy new aftermarket arms to...
