im pretty sure it will come off as one piece, if i remember right the only thing i had trouble with was the long head bolts that came out had to kinda push the motor around to get them out, unless theres a better way to do it.

ah yes, that little baby c clip to, forgot about that i lost mine when it popped off so had to resort to the parts carb lol

could be bad gas and like 98 said check the airfilter

k dont touch the torque screws, that phillips screw that is on the shaft holding the slide it place take that off, then that shaft will slide out the side of the carb. once you do that you should be able to unhook the metal arm holding the slide assembly and it will open up them 2 phillips...

i found out that the best way to get the needle out is to just remove that whole linkage that pulls the slide up, its not hard to take apart, just when you put it back together, make sure that spring has some tension on it so the slide will return back to normal

yea i believe that splittler is stock, the one you described is the same one on the 94 roller that i have.

so i decided to paint up my exhaust just to see how well it would hold, used high temp paint in flat black, i think it looks tonnnnnns better :) i didnt want to do this in fear of breaking the studs for the exhuast off the head but my buddy talked me into it, let me know what ya think...

awesome that your getting your hands dirty again! one thing though, i wouldnt run a bolt all the way through the frame for the bumper, if you do that and end up hitting something your going to bend the frame instead of the bumper. just weld up new mounts to it, especially if your going to sell it!
