at the beginning of spring this year i got hurt on the blaster i had. went into a ditch and came up the other side and it got away from me. it landed on its side and i landed on my right hand nearly dislocating my thumb and severely sprianing my wrist. couldn't ride comfortably for almost 3 months.

i think the 350 is almost the size of the whole blaster frame lol

okay. i'm not doubting the quality either. i just like the look of the guards over the lights lol

Did you try to put the stock plastic waffle covers over the lenses? i may try a set of these out if those pieces work on them.

those are awesome man. thanks for posting. wonder if the plastic cages fit around them though. i don't like the look of the plain jane housing.

yeah it's a wonder nothing was wrong with the cam i suppose. i may or may not try the tighter clearance that bones suggested because my adjustment earlier made it quieten down considerably. makes me feel better, but kind of dumb too since i really didn't pickup on the stock vs hc specs.

Those numbers I was using were straight from the little paper info slip included with the cam in the box. I dunno why I never thought about it. Guess I've not been getting the power I thought was there either.

can anyone confirm this real quick for me? edit: i think i found what i was looking for after making this post... 4-6 on the intake and 6-8 on the exhaust going to go with bones suggestion though since my feeler gauge doesn't go any less than .006 lol

on that note and just because i'm not close to my book, what would the stock lash be? i can't remember.

Haven't checked the lash yet. I have it set at .13 and .15 on the valves though. Will recheck though. Are you using .004 on both valves?

Yeah I know it. Kind of worries me a little, but everything is good on the inside, excluding the timing chain I reused for the 3rd time. LOL:eek:

finally got the warrior fired up again yesterday after the new keyway. runs good. hopefully it'll stay running now.

I dig ya lol. She starts up pretty easy though right now. I will be on top of valve mantenence though.

only ones i've heard of having problems are the 01-02 bikes. 03-05 are good to go.

Id fix the 660 up and use it. Its a hella of a trail quad. Id love to have one myself if i hadnt picked up my z400.
