I would look into getting a new piston. With over 100 hrs on that you dont want to take the chance of the piston skirt breaking and then damaging the cases when it gets banged around in the crank. New piston, rings and a hone should do it good.

Blasters are very simple motors. Get yourself a compression tester so you can see what it has. Anything below 100 your looking at a rebuild. Does it have any sort of aftermarket exhaust or air filter?? I have some parts for it, stock headlight, slightly bent front bumper, painted rear plastics...

Haha I had one of those, I traded it straight up for an 02 blaster. Rings were shot smoked more than that one and the chain master link was welded b/c the swing arm bearings were shot and it kept throwing the chain. Had a nice supertrapp pipe though! haha

Valve seals are the cause of the smoke. Not a huge deal. As for the no start could be the cdi getting heat soaked im not too sure.
