No rev limiter on warriors.

You should be fine I've put 50 miles on a tank running 35-45 mph with gas to spare.

Easy to change in the machine,check the manual.

The holder I made,worked great.

I think the reverse light on the dash is run off of the ground on the reverse shifter.I could be wrong but if you can wrap your head around that should be no problem.

I think it's just your positioning of the push lever,it looks like it should be moved on the shaft so that with the slack taken out before attatching the cable it is pointing straight back. Compare it in your pictures and mine,everything else looks good.

This is the position on mine.

Try moving your push lever on the shaft to a position that will take up the slack , don't know what else to try ,it seems to work for mine.
