It's probably an '01 or '02. Got any pics of the complete bike? Like already stated, 2001 models had issues with the transmissions, and the one-ways were crap also. Other than that, they're good, strong, torquey motors. Not the best handling quads, but not terrible. Great for trailriding. :shrug:

If you can, use a buffing 'wheel' on the end of a drill with the polish. ;)

Yep, I'd cut a flathead screwdriver slot in it with a dremel, should come right out like that. Doesn't take a lot of torque to get those screws out.

Looks great, love those tires!

To be on the safe side, it doesn't take much time/effort to disconnect those things.. I would.
