does anyone have an 88 CDI i can borrow? the closer to NW PA the better. i told a guy that a stator would solve all of his problems and now i look like a ******* because it didnt... so before he comes to get his POS this weekend i would like to at least figure out what the problem is!! please...

well said, tho im afraid the orginal poster didnt quite get the point.... you could put a dodge viper engine in a warrior if you wanted, you would just have to build a custom frame and completly change everything... what motor bolts right in? NONE!... well maybe something like a big bear...

its a little alte to be telling you guys about this but i rode last weekend at the redbank valley poker run in new bethlehem, pa and it was awesome! sure i blew yet another stator and didnt finish the course and the trails looked like someone was skidding logs on them but holy hell was it fun...

yeah i saw that thread. but where on the website does it say he actually is making them for the 350? looks like it might actually be more expensive than OEM, which is what i was trying to avoid

ok turns out the warrior and the raptor are the same OEM part number, therefore they are the same..... still wondering about aftermarket tho

hey guys... couple of qustions here... first off are the raptor 350 starter clutches the same as the warrior? i think they should be but im not sure. and second, is thier truely an aftermarket stater clutch for these? i seen a few threads that mentioned it but the websites they refer to...

i wouldnt be so sure but if your certain then it looks like you need a regulator... check ebay or ricky stator... make sure you get the right year range (90-94)

like jasonp said 2 or three times its the pilot jet/ screw. i bet if you turn it 2.3-3 turns out it fixes it. if not theres probably some corruption in a passage of the carb... when it is really cold out mine will do this and i give it a 1/4 turn and it stops

yeah i would guess you could put a 150 or a 155 in it. 4 stokes arent as finiky as your 2 stroke banshee. but they will get hot just the smae if the jets are too lean

check to see that gas is free flowing from the tank to your carb... your petcock might be clogging up

youll notice my reply above in caps. i would check the (possibly orange) wire that runs from the cdi to the ignition coil for breaks

i agree... as a matter of fact i highly agree... if it were anything else you would have figured it out by now with either a gear evacuating the case or the rod ceaseing to be a "connecting" rod

hey guys i just wanted to give ricky stator some credit on this one... they say they have a 1 year warranty and of course mine was 13 months and a couple weeks old... but when i called them they said "sure send it in and if its bad we will send you a new one".... now its just a waiting game...
