    yep if you bypass the clutch switch it will start in gear with the clutch out... and imnot gonna lie i sometimes start it like this when we are moving camping gear and my hand are full hahaha... kinda hard on starters but as long as your in first mines starts right up haha

    i would be very leary of something that "ONLY" has the cam gear sheared off... alot of times that means the valves and the piston became good friends, too good of friends!

    yeah sorry im late on the scene but i pretty much knew it was the stator from the first post... stators burn up all the time on these damn things... do yourself a favor and CHECK THE RESISTANCES NOW, and write down what you get and dont lose it. that way the next time it burns out you know...

    yeah thats what makes the buggy try to go whenever you have the clutch pulled in... the friction disks get hung up in those goves and wont release sometimes.... you can dremel them off but you have to be very careful that you dremel them all off the same amount... if one of the tabs is wider...

    oh yeah... for sure... your stator is probably bad, but i was just giving other options... Ohm out that stator... youll probably find something way about spec... pay attention to the little K or M that makes a HUGE difference!

    yeah could be carburation to... cranking for that long is BAD on the starter clutch/ bearing... it runs out of oil after a bit and then starts to wear... if everythign is right it shoudl start within a couple revolutions... is your carb clean? maybe something has plugged up the pilot jet? how...

    yeah i was goign to say you could just tip the fourwheeler on its size AND be very careful to not drop anything into the big hole that you expose, but if you have never changed the oil now would be a great time

    Steering Stems Without a Zerk...???

    aaaaaa in my 94 and also the 96 i tore apart there was no zerk... and the bearing is sealed so you cant get grease in it that way anyways... im guessing on the old ones the bearing is open and requires greasing... they did away with that of course after the mud and crap tore up the bearings...

    87 Warrior Carb Problems

    are you sure the carb is good and clean on the inside? there really shouldnt be any reason why it wouldnt run right in stock setup
