well i can deal with the fact that its difficult to start its just the freezing cable and the fact that every time i hit the gas it bogs down and if i punp the throttle it backfires and pops

either you have a bad battery or your stator is bad.....you have the quad running and you turn the lights on and the battery dies? stator is bad, its not recharging the battery
