The year is either a 2000 or 2001. It was a good deal on ebay so i bought it. It is true that the rear diff doesnt gain any clearance but everything else does! I added the 27 inch tires and I instantly noticed a lot less drag in the mud...I would rather have just my diff drag through the mud...

I've got a set of 27inch dirt devil xt's on mine and they are great. I have never heard of the dirt devil IIs but if they look anything like the xt's i think you would be happy with them. They work well in the mud and have a good smooth ride for a mud tire.

If you want bigger tires for the mud you should go for some 25s. I had 23s for a while but I got tired of getting stuck all the time. You won't need any mods for the 25s because the fenders have enough clearance. You should not really notice a power loss but depending on the tread of the tire...

I'm having the same problem only that it is always stuck in 4x4. I guess i put too much WD 40 on it. Do you think that i have the same problem with the o rings or could it be something with those retainer balls on the selector shaft because those don't look like they are working. I don't think...

Is it easy to install? Would you recommend using one in muddy/wet conditions...It seems like a pretty good deal.

I would like to see the write up on the park brake to because my wolvy had the same problems...spending lots of money to not fix the problem. I finally put a zip tie around the park brake because it was so frustrating. I would also like to ask about the front brakes. I have to use them virtually...

Yeah, the venom is a great buy and it even comes with the perfect mounting plate when you buy it off of ebay- thats what I did and it was really cheap! I mounted my soleniod underneath the seat in front of the battery. There is a perfect little hole for it and I just put some duct tape over it...

Been looking around for some 27's and I think my best bet are the dirt devils. I do a lot of mudding and the 25 mudlites just are not grabbing enough. I've got a 2' lift and a K&N air filter-what kind of adjustments will my wolvy have to get (pipe, carb kit, etc.) to spin the rubber??! :)...
