Mid throttle it cuts out and pops. But only when you hit the throttle hard. With the lid off, it makes the symptom worse. 0-1/4 is fine. 1/2 throttle... bogs and backfires out of the carb.

I'm working on a 99 warrior. It has a bog when you mash the throttle, also back fires out of the carb when you do this. I did the Bic pen spring mod and it helped some, but still have the issue (just not as bad). It idles fine, and if you roll the throttle on slowly... it will rev out symptom...

Any other parts other than the 400 carb?

I also know about lt400 carb. Just havent found a good deal on one yet. If anyone did the carb switch, what size jets did you use?
