finally got the part sent off and i jus went ahead and sent my old stator with it so i would definintly get the right one this time......now i jus have to wait :(

yea i jus check ma wife tried to surprise me with it but got the wrong one....im going to have to call on monday

im sure the the kill switch is good because wen i put it in the on position the neutral light comes on and when i put it off the light turns off but ill go ahead and give it a cleaning

kill switch is good,key switch is working also, only found one fuse and its good guess ill double check the wiring

ok on the pick up coils i get 193ohm and the source i get 339ohm, they seem to be in spec

its 10k ohm out to the spark plug

ok so i got the coil in today put it on and now i get bout 10ohms going out to the spark plug but still no spark This is getting me so frustrated already i just want to ride!

before the coil i get around 4.85ohms and after the coil i dont get anything, so im assuming its bad?

ok now im tryin to start up and im getting no spark. im thinkin its maybe my ignition coil

yea it is a 89 model........its the one infront of the head right? i was wondering what that lever was for because all it said on it was on with a arrow

ok thanks for the info....i was thinking about taking the engine apart because of the grinding noise but i guess its normal, i have not actually tried to turn it on because its so hard to pull it im scared to rip the rope im going to just order a new starter, any suggestions on where to get...

ok i got the starter to spin 2 or three times jumping the solenoid so i know the solenoid is bad......but starter seem to struggle to turn over engine
