    it needs measured. the one that was in his motor was out pretty far. but the 12mm was STUCK!! so took the one out of the donor and installed it. the cam gear did move just a hair, but he was anxious to hear it run. i think we all know that feeling. i know i have been waiting to damn long myself...

    sorry .05. but i was using the metric spec on the feeler, not inch spec. so basically your saying to go way tighter than the hot cams spec?

    on the spec sheet that cam with the cam it says to set the lash to .15mm exhaust, .13mm intake. the reason for the just whiping the intake was because of the .003mm difference in the feeler. but where did you get the .03 spec at? are you talking inches? the exhaust valve was set so it was tight...

    just did a top end on a friends 2000 warrior. put in a hot cams stage 1 cam and adjusted the valves as close as i could with the feelers i had. it was really tight on the .152 for the exhaust valve, .15mm is spec. the intake is supposed to be .13 which i couldn't get any closer than .127 with...
