Thanks for all the replies. I have sent my cdi box back to dynatek for dignostics. I was losing spark signal to the plug. Anything above idle it would start dropping ramdom spark increasing with rpm. I decided to start with the cdi then if that checks out ok ill retest the source and pickup...

I bought a 2000 warrior in january and have had nothing but problems since. I have replaced the coil, stator, source coil, pickup coil,and cdi box. I now have over 2000 bucks in a warrior that I still can't ride cuz cuz it still runs like ****. I'm not looking for tech or troubleshooting help...

Well I tried bypassing the switches on clutch/park brake. Made no difference. Also checked my timing and it is dead on. I called dynatek and im mailing my cdi back to them tomorrow for them to test and troubleshoot. If that doesn't turn anything up I'm absolutely at the end of my rope.

Which switch? There are two. Is there a way to safely bypass them? I just want my bike to run. Had this thing for over a month and havnt got to ride yet.

This is like a rev limiter that kicks in just above idle. If I rev it to say 3 or 4 grand its starts missing so bad that it backfires out the exhaust and thru the carb. It is exactly the same in reverse and forward gears and while sitting still. Its so bad its not ridable other than putting...

Ok maybe this is a dumb question. I'm still having problems with my 2000 warrior. Its dropping spark signals at random intervals at any rpm above idle. Now for my dumb question. Is there a rev limiter on warriors when in reverse? If so can it be bypassed or otherwise done away with? Any help...

Ok. Thanks. Main reason I was wondering was because the paperwork with the dyna cdi said I would have to rejet just with their cdi. Ill start with 150 and see what happens.

Can someone give me a clue as to what size jet I should start with on my 2000 warrior? Its basically stock with an fmf pipe and a dyna fs non-programmable cdi. Thanks.

Ok so its been awhile but finally an update. I just put the new dyna fs cdi on and it fired up after like 3 revolutions. It idles perfect but anything above idle it starts missing like a rev limiter. Its so bad its unridable. Anyone have any thoughts?

Its a 2000. Pretty much stock except for fmf pipe and k&n filter. May be jetted. Haven't had carb apart yet.

Well I checked out all of my ground connections and found no problems. I guess the next step is to fork over a couple hundred for a new cdi. I'm thinking I'll go with dynatek. I know they make good products for harleys so quality should be the same.

Does anyone have an opinion on a procom versus dynatek cdi box? Trying to decide what to order.

Is there any way to check the cdi box with a good digital multi meter?
