Any ideas for this starting problem you guys?

Well the crankshaft is turning so the flywheel key should be good. What is it doing exactly that makes you ask? Have you tried to turn the engine over with the stator cover on? I can see the idler gear shaft move because of the stress it is under. Could be that the shaft has enough movement, because the cover is not on to hold it in place, that the idler gear losses contact with the flywheel gear. You're not going to want to keep turning that engine over without the cover because the hole the idler shaft goes in will break due to stress and load.
 
I did the same. I didn't see anything unusual at first so I kept replaying it from the 20sec point.
 
I was thinking the same thing guys, its not mine but the guy that owns it is going to make an account on here and tell you more about it. I was trying to help him out since you guys know what your doing!
 
this is mine everybody. thanks for uploading it. and this bike was working fine i took it out on the trail.. and on the way home it just up and dies. i try to start it and all it made was a spinning noise (coming from this area) so i took the cover off to see and everything looks good to me but i have been told that the starter clutch may have went?
