Well many of you know I sank my Raptor on thanksgiving day, I've only rode it twice since then. Today I took it out and it was smoking a lot. It has always smoke a lil till it was warm but now it did it for about a hour of riding. So I'm thinking that i need to get it re-bored and possibly a stroked. I'm going to have to dig into the bottom end to clean it out anyways so while I'm there I want to put a stroker in.

So here is my question, what stroker crank is the best bang for the buck? I don't have a lot of money but I would rather spend more for a better product. Also what cam, valves, valve springs and piston should I use? I do all kinds of riding from trial to track to mudding and all between. So what should I be looking at, again best bang for the buck.

Thanks
Mike

what makes you think this??? i sank mine upside down at the bottom of a 5 deep spot in the crick. all i could see was the bottom of the rear wheel. i just change to oil about 5 or 6 times and it ran fine..

If a little water found it's way into the oil, couldn't that thin it out enough to get past the rings and burn?

Its not the water that messes **** up its the bit of sand and crap that gets in there.
