My warrior is backfiring at idle. When I go to give it gas it backfires more and won't go more than 5 mph. I thought the problem might be in the carb so I took it off and cleaned it out ( was pretty clean) changed to smaller jet at the same time since plug was black. Where do I go from here???

check your parking brake wiring and sensor thing near the clutch lever, I think mine backfired like that and would only go so fast when my parking brake sensor was acting up.

Unplug the parking brake wires under the hood from the sensor and I'm not sure if you need to leave them unpluged or plug them into themselves. You can try both ways to make sure, hopefully someone can help with that part. If that doesnt work I'm not sure what it is.

Its probably the air mixture screw. Its on the bottom of the carburetor in the front closest to the engine. Try giving it 1//4 turn to the left.

Thanks for the help it ended up being the parking brake

That parking break seems to be a pain in the ass. I'm glad i took it off.
