Brakes

Went riding today ended up having to ride through alot of water seem like the brakes are messing up now. had to pump up the front brake and the back brake seems to have lost pressure.....whats the best way to tighten up the brakes on one of these....and another thing the back brake squeaks horrible and is getting on my nerves how do i fix that?

the squeek is the factory pad.....if you replace it with a ebc sintered metal or however you spell it, the prob. mostly quits, till its nasty, then you just ride the brake a short distance
