so im pretty sure my clutch plates are sticking together and I was wondering if I could spray wd-40 between each plate and put it back together to free them up? good idea or not?

Fricton plates are inexpensive. Just get a new set. They probably have oil film on them too and will need to burn it off. Even if you do get em unstuck they wont last long. Commin on bikes that have sat. Used to put the wheels in the air, start it and run it through the gears while holding the clutch to "burn" the crap off the plates, and free them up that way. But it ain' worth it.
