I noticed when I was at the Yami dealer the other day that a Raptor 350s clutch was just as easy to pull as YFZ, and are Warriors are hard as **** to pull especially with heavyier duty springs. Mine got easier with the MSR clutch perch, but no were's near as easy as a new Rappy 350. I noticed the pull lever was little different? Is it longer?

i know what you mean. the rappy pull is cake compared to the warrior. i would like to know what the difference is too.

I never tried the rappy clutch, or even looked real close at it, but the first thing that I think of is that they have maybe a clutch perch with more leverage, or the little arm where the cable connects to by the clutch cover could be longer also, which increases leverage. If you want to make your pull easier, and a new perch and cable doesn't do it, you can also take that little arm off the clutch shaft, cut it in half somewhere in the middle, then weld in an extra piece of steel, half an inch or something like that. That will give it an easier pull without causing problems with it not disengaging.

i've got one of the asv c5 pro levers. was a great improvement but still not even close to the rappy or yfz clutch pull. i have heard about extending the arm on the clutch shaft. i might give that a shot one day. got an extra one laying around here.

i added that little piece on the shaft and it made a world of difference. I think I added about 1/2" to it and its pretty easy to pull now even with hd clutch springs.

DUDE! i was like wth when i first got my warrior. it was WAAAAY harder to pull in than the dirtbike of my friend's i rode. i thought something was wrong with it or it was adjusted wrong or SOMETHING! but i power shift a lot now. got a blister from pulling in that clutch! is there a CHEAP way. meaning not a lot of money involved to making it easier?

My clutch is butter and im using all stock stuff. Lube up your cable. I know when my old one got dirt and rust in it, it was a bitch to pull

keeping it lubed and even though the asv has bearings in it, there is a pivot point just like the stocker that doesnt use bearings. grease that up too. it does help quite a bit but still a lot harder than most other quads. i dont really seem to notice it that much when i'm blasting through the trails. my mind is obviously on other things.

i also noticed that my throttle lever is harder than others. not by a lot but enough to cause arm pump and the muscle in your thumb to ache when i'm really riding hard. makes it a bitch to ride after awhile. took the side cover off the carb and greased it, lubed the cable, and greased inside the housing. hope that helps. anyone have any other tips?

Personally i would prefer a throttle that is slightly stiffer, with an easy one, every bump you hit you will be blipping it slightly.
