yes it will........... if you have mods done to it like a pipe / filter / airbox. if nothing is done to it and youre still rolling with the stock box/ filter and pipe. no it wont do anything except flood it. if you having issues with it not running right, like popping and sputtering, pull the carb, removed the jets and go to a local hardware store or hit up "jets r us" online and they can send you what jets you need. or do it the economical way and clean the carb real good. pull all the jets and clean em out.

I have heard dynojet jet kits are not the way to go because the jets are weirdly numbered and takes like a 160 for what you would need and it would be hard to find a 160 dyno jet jet for a warrior but you can always mess with the needle and A/F mixture.

Still looking for info on this... *Sighs*

As for the jet kit, it doesnt modify the power or performance. Theoreticaly, you use it to re-tune and re-jet the machine to run at optmum performance.

Proper tunning is pretty important.

If you run lean, you'll run hot, and seize up/damage the engine. burn up rings, melt pistons etc etc

if you run rich, well, it runs like crap, makes everything dirty, and fouls plugs.

its not a performance enhancer aside from using it to tune the machine to run at its best.

dynojets are awesome its a different scale then regular jets but there better to use for fine tuning, my kit came with there needle also which has 6 slots instead of 5 and the needle has like a tapered end on it for more throttle response and stuff, mine runs a DJ 146 i think which is what DJ calls for with open airbox modded engines.

wow a 150, your elevation is probably really high, its real low around here.

well the jetting guide called for the 148, but i knew i was gonna be modding more so i put the next biggest in so i didn't have to tear the carb apart again. the saddest part is im still not done. im never happy:D

I could tell a difference with the 150 dyno jet rather than stock tho??

ya tyler i could tell a difference, but before i got my warrior it had the k&n and pipe on it already and was still running stock jetting. Thats part of the reason i put the piston in to, because it had been run so long like that i didnt want to take any chances. besides im always looking for power the cheapest way

I just plunked in my dynojet 150. I wont get a chance to rip on her tonight though.. stupid derby car ate up my long weekend.. grrr...

but soon as I get a chance, I gotta adjust my needle a notch, but then I'll take her out and see how she does. then I'll try out the oem 150 and compare.
see if I cant settle this matter myself.. lol

realisticaly, I should have started out with the 152.5 oem jet to see how she does.. lol
but im sure thats prolly too big anyhow. I just got it since I was ordering em anyways, and doesnt hurt to have it. the other part was I wanted to stick it in and find out once and for all what a "Hard Rich stumble" realy is.. lol

should be able to report back on the jets in a day or two or three... lol

Just got a Mikuni 150 main and 25 pilot for my raptor cant wait to try them out. All I have done so far was removed the spark arrestor but the pilot screw needed 4 turns out to idle with out popping. I feel the plug could be a little darker also after checking it with a wot run.

if you bog at low speeds, try raising your needle a notch.
Just cured mine.
Problem is the needle doesnt start to open up soon enough to get the fuel in there.

Im now running a dynojet 150, and the dynojet needle, on the fourth clip.
she seems to run great, at least in the garage. too late to take her for a spin and see, but shes running better now than she has since I owned her.

Which is good. I got that campsite again for a week, the one where the trails lead right in and out of the site. hehe. took a few days off work. hahaha!

gimme a day to play and make sure shes tuned perfect, do a lil more testing, and then a week to play... get all the other bugs worked outta her before everyone else makes the 3-4hour drive up for the next weekend for the real camping and riding and evening drunk fest!

just gotta find a place to charge my MP3 player each day!!! lol

as for the dyno jets being different size in numbers, I dunno. once I get her runnin good, Im gona swap to the OEM/mikuni 150 jet and see if theres a diference. I suspect they're close enough in size that a person wont even notice a difference.

the other oddity is the difference in the needles.

the Dynojet one is shorter. The taper seems slightly steeper, but the needle overall seems a hair fatter.

I think Im about 1.75 turns out on the mixture screw, maybe closer to 2. I set it a hair closer to the rich side till I get her out and test her out more.

I assume they would. Just tell em what you want, they can probably get either/or.
just make sure to mention it.
I would imagine by default they'd get whatever the manufacteror of said carb of said machine supplies.

EDIT:
How come no one ever mentions that enricher diaphram thingy? what does that do exactly, n how, n why? N what if it was slightly bad or something? stupid things like 70$ from the dealer up here (Yes, canadian dollars, so like 2$ for you USA people.. lol)

Just wondering, since when I cleaned my carb, it didnt realy look the healthiest, and rather fragile, adn Im not even sure it went in thier 100% right. Seemed like a rather sketchy little deali-o...
