first ever post ;D

Ive got an old quad, i don't know how old exactly but its in the old Grey/ purple color scheme (is there a way to find out age from the frame No?)

anyway, sometimes if i go from running at a slow speed then nail the gas the engine will just miss and try and stall, if i hold the gas on wot it would stall but if i let off it will come right back (like a fuel starvation bog).
if the gas is applied gently then its fine, or even if i go a little bit on then nail it its fine. i know this points to improper tuning (as far as i know its tuned to OEM specs) but once the engine has run for 10-15 min and got hot then the problem gos away
any idea what this is? the last thing i want to do is P**s about with tuneing when i don't have to, i can tune 2 strokes fine but never tryed doing it on a 4 stroke so I'm a bit worried about screwing it up, especially because this bike has never broken down in all the time Ive had it

im not sure im gona get this thing working atall now
I drove it a short distance then shut off and left it for 20 min then when I tryed to start it it just won't work, the nutral light isnt comeing on neither is reverse andf the headlights won't work either. just asif there was not battry but the bat is conected and has power
any ideas what could be wrong? ???

The carb issue is very common with warriors. You can clean the carb, paying specific attention to the accelerator pump plunger and spring. Sometimes the return springs break or are lost completely. No matter what, you'll never be able to completely lose the bog with the stock carb when you quickly *** it from the closed position, the accelerator pump just isn't strong enough.

Now, about your electrical problem. If you haven't done this yet, remove the battery cables and clean the connections good, make sure they're nice and shiny, not corroded or anything like that. I've had similar problems caused by corrosion in between the battery and cables. If that doesn't do it, check the fuse. (under left rear fender near the solenoid)

ok the bike has gone away to serviced and to try and fix the electrics
it needed a service anyway, its had no maintanance for about 2 years lol

only problem is that i now have to resort to playing on a crappy breeze that the same age and about a milion times more gutless

its like ofroading on a lawnmower, sooo bumpy, oh well time to try and make it wheele

anyone know of someone selling a raptor at a reasonable price in the uk? been trying to find one but all i can find are ones that have been made road legal and that just pushed up the price by about 1K
