FLEXX BARS

So I'm reading the September Dirt Wheels mag and I see FLEXX bars from a company called FASST co. Anybody using a pair of these and if so do the really help take away some of the pounding?

Supposedly they help to absorb some of the blast to your arms and shoulders coming up from rocks, roots etc. They are kind of spendy but much less then a new pair of Elka shocks.

So I'm talking to the guys at Fasstco about the bars and for about $450 I can get a set of the bars the cushioners a pad, and a set of Rox risers shipped to my door. About a third of what Elka wants for shocks but again I'd really like to hear if anyone else has tried these bars before I spend that kind of green.
