What a great weekend in solum springs. Went all over and the trails are nice up there. Not just railroad bed.
With in 1 hour of unloading the wheeler I figured I show off and hit a huge ass jump. Oh it was mint alright! Came down on the back left tire hard. Bent the rim and axle. I'm thinking about getting a durablue or G force.. not sure yet. As for rims I might get something with reinforment or stock again as it seems like from the people I talk to and friends that these .190's are still pretty easy to bend. Freaking front tire bent the first day I had it ITP. A well ******* money pit.
Also a few reviews. Cobra swing arm skid.. This thing looks to be more then a 1/4" thick and hangs really low. That's the biggest problem. I'll have to modify it a little and oblong the mounting holes so It comes up higher on the carrier. I hit a rock so hard it picked the rear end up and moved it over. Put a huge gash in the plate and looks to be very slightly bent. The bolts holding it on got the worst of it.. There really bent. I'm pretty happy with it as the price was like $55.00 bucks, other then the fact I got hung up on everything.
Baja chassis skid. This thing is mint. They must have one sweet metal brake to put all the nice bends in it and the way the mount it to the stock mounting points is mint. Love it.
IMS/Roll desing stem and JB clamp. Another thing I wish I would have done a long time ago. I'm a taller guy 6'3" or so and I found I was always setting on the front of the seat. Well now I set back a little ways and get alot more traction and it wheelies easy as hell now. Plus with the anti vib mounts on the clamp it takes and allows the bars for more movement and transfers less vibration to the rider. Nice. The bars sit up around 1.5" higher then before and I had to remove the brake line bolt and push that block upwards so the line would reach.
The warrior got not as good milage as before with this big cam and really f'ing dirty air filter.
I just wrote a GD book. I'll stop there. Happy riding.

Also wish I would have kept the web .390 cam for this bike. Much better low end torque as I usally am always riding there in the RPM band.

Sucks that you fudged up a little bit but that just means new parts ;D I cant remember the brand of the swinger skid I had on the warrior but it hung very low too. Do you still have the 390. or did you sell it?

I sold it to some dizzle hondo on the board. You have to be up in the revs if your doing anything that requires hp on this .450. This cam is not forgiving like the .390. Nice all around cam that's for sure.
It's almost like trying to drive a 2 stroke around.

Yeah even with the .430 I had you had to keep your rev's in the mid range to keep in the power. Maybe you could find someone with a .390 and trade. Or maybe check around on ebay.

not like any of you care, but. . . Tonight I moved the corba skid plate closer to the rotor and chain. I left the two bolts holding the plate on the upper mounts and let it hand down. I then just pushed the plate so it would it the rotor and marked the holes and drilled. I had to cut some of the left side flange off. I moved the plate up about 3/4" of an inch so hopefully that helps things. I was getting pretty pissed getting stuck on everything.

:) I didn't know if you wanted me to give your info out or say who you where! haha dizzle hondo is my nick name but I use it on just about everything. My buddy gave me that because I play guitar and have a Marshall DSL 100 watt amplifier. "DSL 100" dizzle hondo. Stupied I know but I get the chicks with it. haha

Jason I remember a while ago someone by the name of mx350warrior was selling aftermarket shocks (pep I think) and you were talking about buying them, then I seen in the feedback thread that he said you were a great guy to deal with and what not. So whats up Jason? Did you buy some pep's and are holding out on us?

I bought a set of +2 works triple rate from RMC. I still have not received them as of yet.. I came through on my end will see if he does on his.. I hope so.
I sold the a arms (that is what I bought from MX350) and thought I might make something on them but didn't. I lost about 20 bucks. All the rubber boots where ripped and the arms were more digged up then I liked so I'll maybe get some new ones as there pretty cheap. I'm not really sure yet. I'm thinking just putting wheel spacers on and then the shocks. Or maybe I won't even get the shocks and I won't have to worry. I'm also thinking that I'm going to stop spending money on this machine and just have it for 2nd fourwheeler. As you see I'm all over the the place.

I know how you feel, I was like that with the warrior. Once you get a new quad 400, 450, 700 etc you will realize how crazy you were for spending all the $ on the warrior and how much better newer designed quads are. A lot of people have mixed opinions about the looks of the new ktm 450 but I love the way it looks. Not sure of how it performs compared to others but it would be worth looking into if your gona be in the market for a new quad.

I think it will be a new Z or a raptor for my next quad. Will see when the new ones come out next year. The next fourwheeler I'm not spending any money on. I'm keeping it all stock. That's my goal for the next one. I'm buying one good enough that I won't have to mod it up.

I'll tell you it's really hard for me not to buy some add on parts that are so cheap around here for the warrior. That's the other thing that makes it tough for me.

Just let it go and get a 700 rappy and you will be more than pleased, those things are beast.
