What a great weekend in solum springs. Went all over and the trails are nice up there. Not just railroad bed.
With in 1 hour of unloading the wheeler I figured I show off and hit a huge ass jump. Oh it was mint alright! Came down on the back left tire hard. Bent the rim and axle. I'm thinking about getting a durablue or G force.. not sure yet. As for rims I might get something with reinforment or stock again as it seems like from the people I talk to and friends that these .190's are still pretty easy to bend. Freaking front tire bent the first day I had it ITP. A well ******* money pit.
Also a few reviews. Cobra swing arm skid.. This thing looks to be more then a 1/4" thick and hangs really low. That's the biggest problem. I'll have to modify it a little and oblong the mounting holes so It comes up higher on the carrier. I hit a rock so hard it picked the rear end up and moved it over. Put a huge gash in the plate and looks to be very slightly bent. The bolts holding it on got the worst of it.. There really bent. I'm pretty happy with it as the price was like $55.00 bucks, other then the fact I got hung up on everything.
Baja chassis skid. This thing is mint. They must have one sweet metal brake to put all the nice bends in it and the way the mount it to the stock mounting points is mint. Love it.
IMS/Roll desing stem and JB clamp. Another thing I wish I would have done a long time ago. I'm a taller guy 6'3" or so and I found I was always setting on the front of the seat. Well now I set back a little ways and get alot more traction and it wheelies easy as hell now. Plus with the anti vib mounts on the clamp it takes and allows the bars for more movement and transfers less vibration to the rider. Nice. The bars sit up around 1.5" higher then before and I had to remove the brake line bolt and push that block upwards so the line would reach.
The warrior got not as good milage as before with this big cam and really f'ing dirty air filter.
I just wrote a GD book. I'll stop there. Happy riding.
