Has anyone tried to replace the 95-05 Wolverine shocks with those off another machine ie: Raptor or YZF? How did they work for you? What about aftermarket?

I put a set of front shocks from a Raptor 660 on my 2003 Wolverine. The Raptor shocks bolted right up perfectly. I have never had a problem with the shocks bottoming out or anything. But I will say that the only real difference that I noticed was a smoother ride when I go over alot of small bumps like tree roots or a gravel road (fist sized gravel). On normal trails at speed I don't really notice a huge difference, I still get beat around pretty good.
