one way bearing

How will you know if your one way bearing is bad?

Either the starter will spin when the motor's running no matter what, or the starter won't turn the engine over, pretty simple.

whats yours doing?

when i try to start, it just clicks, doesnt turn over, if I put it in gear and roll it backwards the pull in the clutch, it tries to start

That's either a bad solenoid, battery or possibly start, nothing to do with the bearing. And why would you roll it backwards?

i roll it backwards to bump the gear and it will turn over

when mine went out it just spun freely.......Not a hard fix though theres a real good flywheel puller/press on ebay for 39.99 +sh works great abd superfast shipping

ok ill try a solenoid, are they the same on most bikes? I have a 300 bayou i could steal it from to test it?
