Well im going to keep the craptor. But i want to put a 12:1 JE piston in. But i need help on getting a rough idea of how much its going to cost. I want to do it right and replace EVERYTHING. Im also going to need the cost and a place to hone a cylinder out.

Do i need a after market exhaust to make it work or will the stock one just limit the total amount of HP? What is a good cam, i want one with a nice power band on it in the higher revs.

Thanks all.

If I had it all to do over again this what I would do.
12:1 366cc 85mm bore JE piston. . .true .040" of deck clearance. With gaskets.
Web .430 cam as I think it's "better" (little more torque in a trade off for peak hp) then the .450 Megacycle but either would work great, IMO.
Dynatek CDI and back the timing down to run pump gas.
Hindle exhaust. (the system is a work of art)
Same head mods, Duncan Racing.. Oversize intake high flow valve and exhaust. HD springs titanium retainers, guides and new seals (all kibblewhite) SERDI valve job and port and polish.
36mm flat slide carb with accel. pump. and mickey dunlaps high flow airbox setup.
HD cutch springs with a added steel.
Stock exhaust will really limit hp as you try to get more high rpm power as the exhaust starts to become a restriction in this area.

Yeh i figured that but its not going to hurt anything other then Hp.

About how much did parts/labor cost

Honestly, I'm guessing around 1000.
But you could do it for around $500.
$145 for the piston
$50 bucks for bore and hone
$105 for the cam
$95 for the springs
$35 for the gaskets
What ever you wanted to do with the head.... $195 to $400.
The alba kit is a pretty good deal IMO.

Whats the fuel consideration for the 12:1 setup you describe Jason?
I would try and run 93 octane fuel or 91 with custom ignition maps on my dynatek. I don't know if it would work or not though. I don't know, even in this 50 degree weather the engine runs extremely hot for being a hair on the rich side.. for the compression I'm running now.
Theres somebody that claims (I can't hardly believe it) 210 compression with the .390 cam and gets away with pump gas stock timing with the warrior engine.

Hey griff, you ever hear of a semi surface discharge racing spark plug?
I put one in the warrior just to try it out. . It's pretty interesting. You can tell the engine got more throttle response and doesn't miss. Feels like it actually has more power..(very little) haha I can hardly believe it. For the amount of money I spend I was happy I could acutally feel something over the standard plug.

Yeah, they can help with firing a little, particularly with higher CR setups, I've heard of a slight improvement in throttle response, but I've never noticed it myself. They tend to last longer, or I should say, stay more consistent (firing) longer. The big thing is theyre more resistant to carbon build up

The biggest thing I noted was throttle response. I have these F1 mags and that's the only spark plug I see that they use. It makes sense though that there is no ground strap in the way so no quench area.. but you do want to get the spark down in the engine more and way from the cylinder wall.
