I bought a set of used Raptor 660 shocks to test on a new 09 450. I pulled the old ones off and found that the Raptor shocks were 1.25" longer than the Wolverine ones while uncompressed. When I installed them, they came within about 3/4" of fitting with the lower a-arm fully down. I could have forced them in but then the when the suspension is unloaded going off a jump the shock would not limit travel and mess up the CV joints. I anded up abandoning the idea.
