Should re-jet. Anything that lets more air IN to the motor, or OUT of the motor (no matter how little the difference) you should re-jet. Many have done it without jetting and not blown up though....

if your running the stock filter and lid on and all you did was take the sparky out then there is no reason rejet. with the stock exhaust with sparky removed it wont flow enough to require a change. On my warrior at sea level with no air box just a k&n straight off carb and a big gun exhaust i only had to go from the stock 145 to a 147.5.

it sounds like **** without the spark arrester and only causes problems and also it doesnt do any good....there is no power advantage

I like my spark arrestor out!
I keep the sparky in the yellow bike since its my xc quad now, But I do whatever I can to make that grey z roar like hell!!!!

I know on my bike it runs better without it, but I also have a pipe/jet/filter. But I can definately tell the difference. I must have gained a good 10hp without it ;D

It sounds like a broken lawnmower without the sparky. If you think it sounds cool when you take the muffler off your push mower, then yeah, it'll sound real cool.

The stock can on the Raptor 350 is a POS.

Its a multi-chamber design (as opposed to a straight-through design), and to make it worse they put that abortion of a Spark Arrestor & restricter on the end.

I removed the S/A assembly, and put some SS mesh in the end-cap to be compliant with the S/A rules around here. Its louder, but not by much IMHO. No need to rejet for just that either.

Theres no 'power' improvement really, but I did pickup a little better throttle response by uncorking it.

Now if only the FMF's would get here.....

When i first got my raptor 350 i removed the spark arrestor just to see how loud it would be and it was kind of annoying. So i put the arrestor back in and rode like that for quite some time but i found with the arrestor removed it had snappier throttle response and just seem to run smoother. I never had to rejet but i think it ran slightly warmer in the confined trails in the heat of summer
