When i give it gas in any gear except first it will die. But if i pull the clutch in the idle will go back up then drop all of a sudden if i let the clutch out. I will be going down the road and it will act like there is no spark then when you pull the clutch in it runs fine. Also i have to pull the clutch in when i start it even when its in Neutral. So im guessing my clutch is messed. Can some one give me a pointer of where to start or to look at?

Thanks

I would check your parking brake sensor first, theres a little lever next to your clutch lever, if it is out just a little bit to far it will apply a weird rev limiter.

so youve done the removal kit?, and you unhooked the wires right? beyond that I would have to say maybe the neutral dectector wire might be off of its spot down by the shifter, something in your wiring, or maybe your clutch?

Yeh i got the brake block off. Once i get the engine back together ill see whats going on.

Compression should be fine. It has fine power in first. I can check that out sometime.

Its strange i took it for a lil ride today and it didn't do it. I think i found out what it is. That little sensor on the clutch is warn out and i think that has something to do with it. I cleaned it out with WD-40 and a wire brush and i don't have to pull in the clutch to start it.

Yeah sound right. If you cut that wire ( Don't) and then tie the 2 ends together then you can start the bike with out pulling the clutch in any gear. Thats what people do when they got aftermarket clutch levers.

Cant see anything messing up. Just where the connector for it is ill disconnect it and put a wire running from one side to the other and take it for a spin. If **** fies i just have to plug it back in a try something else.

Mine's like that too, as long as you don't accidentally press the starter in gear you'll be fine.

I found a wire with a clip on each end. Took the sensor off where the connector is and put the wires on and it seem to run good. Im gonna go and give it a hour ride and see if it acts up before the big ride this weekend
