So I was checking valve clearances which seemed to be bang on the minimums but when the "T" is in the inspection window the timing chain pully doesn't line up perfectly with the "Arrow" on the case.. is it ok or do I need to fix it?
we wound need to see the crank gear also
Remember that the crank rotates twice as many times as the cam, per revolution, so even though the "T" might look like it is lined up, it could be a "shade" off. Which would make the cam gear be off, like your pics shows.
So in so many words, yeah it looks normal....

ok so then I have it lined up with the bottom of the line.. PERFECT thanks for the tip I would have totally tried to line it up with the top LOLI guess that I could "flare up" somebody, and tell you that the arrow is supposed to point at the bottom of the line. :haha:
If I am thinking correctly that would be in the advanced position just slightly and as the chain stretches it will work back towards the mark.
now i suppose the real question is when checking the valves should I lineup the line in the picture or the "T" in the inspection window?
Uh-oh..... let the arguments begin.........:haha:
I couldn't begin to argue on this one because I don't know. If we were talking an automotive engine, I could tell you because I degree cams on them on a daily basis. I have never done one on a Warrior or any other ATV so I don't know. I think where I am getting messed up is engine rotation. On an auto engine if you are looking at a the front, the rotation is clockwise. On the Warrior it is the opposite right?
........I don't know anything about Husabergs but because of their engine orientation, I'd suspect that the rotation is in the opposite direction of other motorcycle engines........
