Well after the ride Saturday i looked at the GPS and it said top speed was 66.7 mph. Last time i checked the fastest it went was 59.4 mph. So where did the 8 mph more come from? The 97 octane gas or the oil cooler? Or a mixture of both?

ummmmm, i dont think higher octane gas would really give you more power and top speed. you run higher octane gas when you have a high compression piston. i have a 10.5:1 CP piston and i run 91 octane. if i am incorrect someone please let me know, but running gas that is a higher octane than needed is just flushing money down the toilet (or out your exhaust pipe). you wont get a complete burn. just like if you run too low of an octane you will get pinging and detonation which is not good either. what mods do you have on your warrior to get you up to 66.7? also, were you running on flat ground or down a hill? im not doubting you, just trying to figure it out for ya

Down a slight slop, on hard packed gravel. I dont think the GPS lies im just wanting to know where the 8mph more came from. Strong tail wind on the 66.7 and a strong front wind doing 59.4? More air in my tires?

are you saying that you had a tail wind on the 66.7 and a head wind on the 59.4 or asking if that could cause it? i would say that if the head wind was strong enough it could knock down your speed a little, but im not sure about almost 7 mph. im not saying that the gps would lie, just not completely sure how accurate it is because i have never used one. what mods do you have on your warrior?

hmmm. i dont know what to tell ya then. the slope might have helped a little, but i dont think it would have done that much. thats a mystery to me man. sorry
