just wanted to see if anyone here has heard of Vesrah clutch kits and if they are a good kit? doesn't really matter I already ordered it from the atv shop here they said it's all they run in everything and they have never had any problems they said they use them on everything from Harley cycles to atv's to scooters and rockets any and all opinions are welcome

ordered a new clutch cover gasket and a 157.5 main jet gonna try to move the needle down 1 notch first to see if that richens it up a bit. just waiting on the clutch cover from 1998yamahawarrior and I'll have some work to get done with the girl before may 1st

Vesrah is supposed to be good. Matter of fact it was reccomended to me by my machinest. You have to raise the needle to richen it(lower the clip).

that's what I meant raise needle lower clip but thats if the 2 screws come loose I couldn't get them loose in the 92 carb to see what notch that one was on so hopefully they come loose on the 02 carb cross my fingers only have 1 week before the trails open gotta get this **** done this week

I'm gonna do the carb needle tonight but have to wait for my clutch, modded cover, gasket and 157.5 main jet to come hopefully by Friday then this weekend you know what I'll be doing in my garage lol

so what do I do if I can't get the 2 screws loose to get the needle out to adjust the clip down a notch?

Reach down in there with a dril bit and get rid of the screw heads. I always use a small phillips head pocket screwdriver. Got to get a driver with a very small sharp head.

You may even want to set the edge of the slide on the work bench and tad the screwdriver harder into the screws with a hammer.

I agree, that's why I suggested taping with a hammer, making the head bite the screws better. Spray some penetrating lube in there. Drilling will be fine, it's getting the rest of the bolts out that would be the bitch.

well gonna go attempt to adjust the clip on the needle wish me luck on getting the 2 screws loose without issues.
now I go 1 notch down with the clip on the needle right to richen it a little more?
