it was working fine. then i was on my way home from the trail and the bike stops working? i try to start it again and all it did was make this spinning noise (so i took the cover off to have a look and it all seems to be fine) but i was told it could be the starter clutch.. that i need a new one..

Are you turning it over without the plug? I only ask because you could have one of two probs. First, your flywheel key may have broken, and the flywheel is spining on the crank. Now, the crank is spining with the flywheel, but if the spark plug is out (this is why I asked) there is no compression building up, so that means the starter and gears doesn't have to work as hard, and as a result the flywheel stays stationary. Either pull the flywheel and inspect the key and keyways, or put the stator cover on, remove the cam cover and set the piston on TDC. With the "T" mark on the flywheel lined up with the notch in the inspection hole, make sure the cam gear mark is lined up with the bump on the head.

2nd prob, your starter clutch is no good and slips at a certain point during it's rotation.

the spark plug is still in. the only thing i have took off is this cover. (havent taken nothing else off as i dont wanna have to buy alot of gaskets lol). this motor was just rebuilt before i got the bike. i ordered the flywheel puller im just waiting for it to get here and i have been told by a few people its the starter clutch but i need to make sure thats it as i dont have $154 to waste

It's a little hard to tell in the vid, but that is most likely your prob. Your starter works, the idler gear works, and the crank does turn but it doesn't make a full revolution. You'll be able to tell once you get that flywheel off and can inspect it first hand. You'll also be able to see if the flywheel key is sheared or not. It could be that simple.
