another 350 to add to the stable

Thats a 1972 R5 right? Looks just like the donor bike (ok looks better) that I got for my hybrid blaster project that I did a couple years ago. Those have stout little engines in them when you get rid of the crappy stock pipes and put on some racing pipes that have expansion chambers on them...

    needed a trail quad

I'll let ya know, Im unsure if I like it yet or not. The extra weight on the front might be nice though.

    needed a trail quad

I need to get my extended swinger back on the LT now, The front doesnt like to stay down. I need to go get the cracks welded and braced for the hard launches.

    needed a trail quad

Well here are some older pics after the rebuild. It still basically thie same, havent changed the seat yet. headlight is now gone and has polished V-bars on it with new grips. Oh and that piece of crap rad valve is gone, since I switched to the vforce reeds I had to get a LT500R intake boot. And...

    needed a trail quad

Yep without the headbolt mod you will go thru headgaskets like crazy, but the guy doing my machine work on the jug is doing the mod and is giving me a 5 year written warrenty against blow out caused by the 440 kit. I just have to keep the head torqued. That mod is costing me $130, and the...

    re-sleeving

Since that includes labor, sleeve, and piston, that is a very good price.

    needed a trail quad

Yeah, and the west coast is usually the most expesive part of the country when it comes to quad prices. This quad does need some work though. I need to put in new carrier bearings, new brake pads, and need new rear tires, since the ones on it are basically racing slicks.

    needed a trail quad

    needed a trail quad

Well I finally got to ride my LT250R with its drag port and other goodies. Its fast as hell and will do what I want it to do out on the dunes. But now its not rideable on trails, since the bottom end is no longer there, so I cant putt around. So today I went and picked me up a 99 400ex. Just...

    yz250f shifter

I put the tusk brand shifter on my old 2000 also. If it was a little shorter it would of been great, got I got used to the extra length in no time.

    Blaster hood on a warrior?

I will post some when I get it done, the hardest part right now is finding a good set of used factory black plastics that a guy doesnt want a left nut for. here is a pic of a buddy of mine who did the plastic swap on his LT250r. He is in the process of shoving a 750cc street bike engine in his.

    Blaster hood on a warrior?

The problem with maier plastics is that they are just so brittle. They are thinner than stock. Ive never been a fan of the aftermarket hoods for the warrior, and I like to be different. When I was out riding the dunes, my warrior stood out. People had a hard time figuring out what it was. Also...

    87 warrior needs plastic

Yeah what he said. I put the newer style hood on my old 87, you just need to weld a couple mounting tabs to the frame and your good to go.

    500 qaudzilla

My LT250R (on the dunes) was eating built 400's for lunch, hanging with or barely beating the 450's, and this was with a stock bore, your basic clean up port job, and a 39mm PWK carb. I just got a full drag port done, V-force 2 Reeds, Carb bored out to 40.5mm. Havent gotten to really ride it yet...

    500 qaudzilla

Zillas are nice, but they are getting hard to find parts for, just like my quadracer. The zilla's are straight line haulers, i wouldnt ride one in the woods if my life depended on it. You have to be carefull kicking that big boy over too, they are known for snapping ankles. If you want the 500cc...

    eBay secrets???

In the last hour of the auction I throw out tester bids to try and figure out what the previous bidders max bid was, i go up a couple dollars at a time. Once im high bidder I wait till the last 30 seconds and put my max bid in, and once it hits 10 seconds i actually bid it. I win 99% of the...

    CUT PLASTICS????

The blaster hood was far from just bolt on. For starters it was wider than the warrior hood so I had to heat it up and squeeze it together to make it narrower by like a 1/2 to 1 inch. Also have to add about an inch of plastic to the bottom sides in order to fit flush on the fenders, so you need...
