    Ran the 446

True that! Nothing like the Warrior as a trail quad; especially your warrior.

    FINALLY DONE!

Out here, desert races are run during the winter (October to March) because the temp is cooler. It ranges from freezing temperatures to 90 degrees, which is not bad considering what its like during the summer and spring. A Warrior should be just fine. Take for example the 400ex which was used...

^^^Yeah, how did you manage to do that?

    anyone with aftermarket a-arms...

What kind of ends are you running? I think you did a thread on that a while back. Are they ASR's? I've heard the honda ends are the best to run.

    Ran the 446

You gone up against any 450's yet? I would think you would hang against a stock 450, but not sure how it would fair if the were piped and jetted.

    FINALLY DONE!

Thanks. I used high temp paint on the cover. I know its going to get rubbed off; might find a more durable paint to replace it. Still it looks good, I think. As for the bumper, I think you're going to love it. PRM is awesome, and will withstand a ton of abuse. Me too. I hope to do that...

    FINALLY DONE!

Thanks guys. Just from my short spin around, the thing responds better, has more guts, and feels a lot better. I am kinda glad I wrecked it now. At the time I had been contemplating selling it, and I was happy with its performance as it was. Well, after it went over the edge, there was no...

    FINALLY DONE!

Well, it's official...my Warrior is finished! ;D Clutch is configured, everything is painted, edelbrock installed and tuned, air box in, and front arms aligned. Took it for a spin around the neighborhood, and it's a whole new quad. Taking it out to Pismo next week to officially get back into...

    Old 87 I got cheap

Not bad. I've seen a hell of a lot worse and at least it is salvagable. Have fun with that. :D Just out of curiosity, what'd you pay for it?

    What do ya think

Thats 3/4 of the truck and SUV owners out here. >:( Yuppie scum. Why not just remove the lights if your racing? Granted it might not weigh much all together, but every little bit can help.

I want a handle bar mounted headlight...

Dirt Rider magazine did a write up about a bunch of light systems you can purchase.

    Uni or Pro Design

Stay away from modquad. Spend the extra cash on the Pro-Flo.

yo wad up kids finally some pics!!

That looks really nice. Paint and color scheme and the new plastics look great! You going to be running any lights?

    What do ya think

Looks bad ass like that. All it means is you need to go night riding more then ;D.

    What Happened to Neutral?

It's the retarded linkage setup that is common for all warriors. I have the same problem too, and have to bang on the shifter to get it in neutral. Only way to get around it seems to be a direct link shifter; at least I hear this solves the neutral issue.

    88 Warrior Chutch question

Are you still running the oil originally in the guad when you picked it up? If its been sitting for a few years, in the elements, it could have fouled. Only thing to really do is drain it, take off the side cover and inspect the plates.

Hybrid warrior on ebay, looks fun!!!

426 motor was supposed to be pretty good. Wonder how the quad ran overall with all the mods...
  18. B

let me know what you think

Not bad for the price. You should esaily get back whatever you paid for it. Have fun tearing into that motor. ;)

    sub's and amps

I've always been an Infinity kind of guy when it come to subs and amps. They aren't the loudest on the market but they have one of the crispest sounds you can get. Of course their quality hasn't been what it used to be the last year or two. I still think you would be happy with them overall...

If you don't mind sand between your toes (pics)

You need to put on some paddles and see if you can skim the pond. :) Looks like you had fun; just make sure to clean your grease points from all that sand.
