That looks good man. It does look better with the top of it cut at an angle and back more, now it makes the chain wad up when it breaks and stop rather then being slung around if that makes sense.

I just thought of something after seeing this pic, is the chain going to hit that case saver when you compress the shock and the swing arm swings up?

You know as a justin case :) you should make another copy that you can use as a template when you have this one done, that way if you ever decide to make more you have one you can copy off of, or need to replace yours. Might make it faster to make once you have a template to run around.

How does the chain run with it that close? Does it hit the saver at all?

Yours is one year newer so it should fit, if you wanted to swap cases. I can't say for sure just taking a guess, one of the other guys that know the years can say for sure if it will.

In that pic of the cam, I may be mistaken but it looks like those threads are screwed up too, looks like it pulled on that bolt or the cam gear under stress and in turn either pulled threads, or broke part of the shoulder where the cam bolt tightens down.

Yea I looked the filters there like 2 bucks, then the gasket kit about 13 so thats something I am going to be looking at doing if thats not the problem then it can be checked off the list with the other stuff.
