Thanks. The site is a lot different now. This old Warrior is a blast. Even though its pretty much stock it just runs so nice. The only thing I think I might change would be the exhaust. I like the HMF, but I also like the tune-ability of the old disc systems. I also need to replace a few decals...

Is this "light thing" made out of metal or pvc? Do you recall what it is actually called? I looked around my local Home Depot and found some things that might work. I just want to take some measurements of my airbox first. Also, what kind of filter did you get? How did you know what would fit?

I have a brand new Jardine RT4 that i bought for a Mojave. I am now selling the Mojave since i got my '87 Warrior. My question is, since this exhaust was meant for a 250, would it flow enough to be a decent upgrade over my stock Warrior exhaust? I haven't looked real close but it looks like it...

I'm leaning towards keeping the gold rims for now. It looks so retro I don't think i'll change the overall looks too much. Just a few subtle changes and some mechanical upgrades you won't really see. Retro/sleeper so to speak.

Yeah i'm pretty sure i'll get kendas. Either knarlys or klaw xc's. And i'm thinkin 20 inchers in back, 21's in front. My wifes warrior has 22 inch klaws and I really like them.

Thanks. The guy i got it from said he only had it for like 8 months. But i don't think its ever been ridden very hard. It really needs new tires though, it can't even wheelie it just spins. :) I'm debating between keeping the gold rims or getting ITP C series. What do you guys think?

Well today i went and got an '87 to play with. I like it and can't wait to take it out. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thats what i thought. The title says 88 so maybe a late 88 or an early 89? That or someone did some retrofitting. When the weather clears up some i'll look at serial numbers on the frame and motor. It snowed again today and it's sitting at my parents until i make room at my house.

Thanks. :) It does need a little tlc but overall it's pretty clean. I think some things have been replaced. The motor doesn't have a pull start. Didn't they have pull starts in '88 still? And i thought the headlights were different on the '88s but i still like it.
