    so you are saying that there could be a short in between the solenoid and switch? Im starting to think its the solenoid. can i test it with a separate battery to check if it clicks?

    I swapped the plugs on the switch only because the one with the right plug was broken. I checked all the connections and it checks out. Ha i wasnt sure if you were suggesting the flywheel as a problem. My bike only has one pick up coil like the 2001

    pretty sure all flywheels are the same but i could be wrong. It wouldn't be the cause of my problem though

    grounds are good. I held a screw driver up to the starter solenoid and it turned over. So could it be the switch? Or could it still be the solenoid? Ill try pop starting it tomorrow
