I finaly blew up my warrior but i only got the the thing for 300 bucks and now im gonna build the motor for my rebuild i was gonna put a JE 366 big bore kit and get a stage 2 hot cam, it has a HMF competiton series exhaust on it now and i was wondering if i should get a bigger carb or just jet...

found the problum the intake valve is sticking open

its not the timing we set it and it still backfired

alright i will try the timing

it has good compression and we cleaned the carb so i know the carb is clean but i didnt even check the timing, could it also be the intake valve not opening

Im workin on my buddys warrior and it just cranks and cranks and after about a minute it sounds like somebody shoots a shotgun next to your ear it backfires so loud but it wont start it has fuel spark and compression but i have never heard something back fire this loud. Any ideas?

ya i cant see it any were but i dont thing it did any damage becasue my motor still semes like it was running strong when it happened i drove it in to my garage and it was running fine then just the hard ticking

i ttok myvalve covers off last night and the valve that is in the front off the motor there is a nut that is suppost to be on the top of the rockers arm and that nut is gone so my rocker arm can move freely up and down im getting it fixed this wekend but what should i do about the nut that is...
