Right behind you!
K i have to nock a link out of my chain, i was looking at it and cant find a master link, It was really pissing me off because i dont know how to take it off now. Have anyone ever seen this? Its an o-ring chain like i listed if that helps.

Take a grinder and grind off the heads of one link, then pry them apart. Then take out the link you need to nock out, then go buy yourself a new master link. Most OE chains don't have a master link.

Then don't bother! Just leave the chain nice and slack, so that when i comes flying off the sprocket and puts a nice hole in you case, and leaves you stranded 50 miles from your truck you won't have to worry about it anymore! Then you'll have lots of time to just sit next to grandpa in the rocking chair and talk about the old days when you used to be cool and have fun riding.................(just pokin ya amigo)

look more closely at the links, maybe the clip got lost and thats throwing you off...i had this happen to a buddy, look closely and hopefully you will find it. if there is definately no master link, its a 30 min job if that, to take out a link with a grinder or dremel.

ok dont worry everyone as if you were anyways. But i grinded off the link and took out another one, went to my shop and got a master. ******* $6.40, outragess if you ask me. But yeah now it all nice and tight.

Thanks guys i just didnt know if there was a trick or something to these chains that dont have a master because i have had to deal with this before and it took forever because we tryed to pry the links apart, Yeah were retarded.

you had a master link, it wasnt that bad. O your talking about busting of a link. yeah that sucked. That was like the first night you got your warrior.

dude you dont even know. Our shop is the biggest ******* rip off ever. Idk why i even go there anymore. We have 2 more liek 15 min away each and there both bigger and cheaper. I guess its because i can ride my bike there and by the time i get to the other places and back i would be spending more money in gas then it would cost.

He said you'll be lucky if it doesn't break because it's streched to hell and back and needs replaced. If you need to take a link out to get rid of the slack, it's time for a new one. I know you don't want to spend the cash, but it's a lot cheaper than throwing your chain thru the case.

no i knew the guy that had it before me and when he bought the shop that he took it too forgot to tighen up the rear end the whole way so it was already out when they put it on so there was already slack on it then it just got streched a little and i couldnt tighten it anymore so i took a link out its not schreched that bad yet.

Yeah I would count the links, if it's less then 98 then it's time for a new chain, BTW did you soak it in Karosene to clean it and relube it????

I usually dont replace a chain untill its stretched beyond spec... i cant remember what the spec is but even when the chain is too far stretched that you cant adjust it tighter anymore you still can cut links out as the chain isnt beyond its stretch limit. You should replace it but its not a bad thing to cut a link out... it will get you through a weekend no problem.

What your really looking at is how the chain sits on the sprocket teeth. If the space is too great then thats when you replace it... trust me ive ran chains so long that it wouldnt even sit in the sprockets right anymore haha.
