Take pics of your air filter setup. Im running the wiseco 84mm high compression piston. Right now im running a 147.5 main jet and stock 42.5 pilot with stock air filter and modded lid. I ran a 150 main but was having issues with my old filter so i went back to stock jetting and filter, now im with the 147.5 at the moment. If you dont have good airflow then you will be down on power with the new bigger piston.

Are you sure it's 84mm? Je only makes 83 and 85mm pistons. Also Thorrider, if you have something restrictive, you won't loose power by adding a bigger piston. If anything you won't see any gains even if you are supposed to by adding an overbore piston.

Have you tried playing with your carb at all? Your jetting could be off

These are the only markings on the piston

Up the jetting. A lot. Start at a 150 main and if that's still lean go up to a 155

It was having air flow issues. Ran like **** with the filter on, took the filter off and ran perfect. Now that i have the stock filter it flows better but still is restrictive. Im waiting on a DT1 filter so i can try that or i'll talk my friend into letting me run his k&n he just replaced.

Is there a specific. Kit with the jets I need or just a stage 1 or 2 will work

I would take your stock jets to a shop and just buy the ones you need. Jets are about $5ea a kit is $50ish. It is good to have a bunch to mess with but at the same time you can buy a few jets and still save your $$$ and wont have to wait for the kit to arrive. And if you buy a wrong size jet alot of shops will let you swap them (just dont say you put in the carb)
