1989 warrior help

Hey all, just picked up an 89 warrior. Replaced the battery and starter, now all I'm getting is a clicking noise and the odd starter spin. Any ideas what's up?

Probably bad connection at the battery or solenoid

I had the battery on a battery tender for about 3 hours which was a green light on the tender. Could it possibly need to be charged longer? Anything else I should look at?

Had no luck, turns out the starters dicked. Going to to return it tomorrow and get a new one and see if that fixes it.

Use a multimeter and check if you're getting voltage to the starter when you have the button pushed in.

i agree with him but did you check the connections at the solenoid?
