Ok im confused about this. When somebody says they are + 2 shocks are they 2 inches longer than stock or are they just sprung and valved differently for the extra leverage?

Just valved for +2 arms. If not they'd be way too soft.

I'm guessing you're asking because you're buying them used for a really good price? Problem is if they're way too stiff, and you can't do too much with the preload (your ride height will get lower and lower as you adjust it) you're going to have to have them revalved. Now between the cost of buying them (got em used for a smoking price) and the cost of shipping them to and from and revalving charges you're into it for what you could have bought them new for. I think if this is the case you're better off waiting and buying new ones.

Damn two replies before me must have been made while I was typing, kinda answered my question......

no im not gettin an good used deal..i was just wondering. because i dont have the money for both shocks and arms at the same time..guess it would just be better to buy the arms first then

You could buy the shocks and not install them haha

Don't laugh, i do that all the time........Damn working for a living taking up time...grrr

My shocks sat in my room for 3 months before i put them on. I currently have a brand new Pro Design tether switch sitting on the dresser, probably will be there for another month....
